Course Description
It's time to put it all together. Sewing 103 is the final class in the Beginner Skills Series. You'll combine the techniques you've learned throughout the academy to create a fully lined tote bag you'll be proud to use every day. You'll practice measuring, cutting, pressing, topstitching, creating sturdy straps, and assembling a larger project while improving your confidence and accuracy. You'll learn: Working with larger pattern pieces Constructing a lined tote bag Creating and attaching sturdy handles Accurate topstitching Pressing for professional results Assembly techniques for larger projects Final finishing techniques By the end of class, you'll leave with a beautiful handmade tote bag and the confidence to tackle many beginner sewing patterns on your own.
